Matt Hoy – Vocals

Renowned for his incredible vocal range Matt takes point on the Downstroke stage. His career includes collaborations with, Wet Wet Wet, Kylie, Boy George, Gary Kemp and for the last 4 years has been the backing vocalist for UB40’s Ali Campbell.

Jamie Little – Drums

Son of soul singer Curtis Little Jamie grew up on a diet of Soul and Funk. As well as being the founder member of Downstroke he has also worked with industry names such as Shalamar, Ruby Turner, Ronan Keating, The X Factor and Boyzone.

Genevieve Sylva – Vocals

Downstroke’s secret weapon Gen grew up in the Pentecostal church and has always wanted to sing and inspire others. Singing, writing and recording from an early age she has shared the stage with Black Voices, Destiny’s Child, Ray Charles and Nina Simone as well as Gospel artists such as Fred Hammond, Kirk Franklin and Take 6. Genevieve has a debut single out and is working on her own album.

Paul Reid – Guitar

Long time member of Downstroke Mr Reid is renowned for his tasteful guitar playing and powerful solos. Not only is Paul the musical director for British soul sensation Beverley Knight you will also see him playing along side notable uk pop acts such as The Saturdays and Cheryl Cole.

Stephen Morgan – Bass Guitar

Brother Morgan is a 100% church grown musician. A long standing member of The Downstroke he has also worked with Lee Ryan and the Pussy Cat Dolls!

Colin ‘Sugarfoot’ Mills – Vocals

Colin started his career in the music industry at age 18. He helped to form a boy band Boyz N Control who worked alongside Pete Waterman and other established producers. Over the years Colin has performed on many TV shows, but his most well known performance was as Billy Ocean on Star In Your Eyes!

Lindsey Butler – Vocals

Lindsey is the vocal power house of Downstroke. A recording artist in her own right she brings a pop edge to the band. She recently appeared on ITV’s “The Voice” when Sir Tom Jones picked her for his team. Go Lindsey!

Stuart Trotman – Keyboards

Also a founding member of Downstroke Stuarts CV reads like a radio one play list. An incredible talent on boards has lead him to be in demand on the uk pop scene with artists such as Anastasia, Sugar Babes, Girls Aloud, Will Young, Il Divo and as musical director for Peter Andre.
